Over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday, 14th & 15th December 2024, Champsman Academy had the honor and privilege of co-organizing the Kids’ Voice Talent Competition alongside our incredible partners, TAG and WCT Holdings Berhad gatewayklia2 who graciously sponsored this exciting event. The competition featured various categories, including public speaking, voice dubbing, storytelling, and talent showcases.

The highlight of the competition – and a truly groundbreaking moment – was Malaysia’s First Disney Voice Dubbing Event!

Two of Champsman Academy’s talented students, Seven Liu and Jacqueline Chia, brought Disney magic to life by transforming into the iconic characters Anna and Prince Hans from the beloved Disney movie Frozen. The duo delivered a captivating performance of the song “Love Is an Open Door”, written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez for Disney’s Frozen (2013). Their duet was both entertaining and heartfelt, leaving the audience in awe.

Adding to the excitement, Champsman Academy students also took on the role of emcees during the Disney Voice Dubbing Competition, showcasing their confidence and versatility on stage.

The event attracted approximately 100 participants and drew a vibrant crowd of around 250 spectators, making Gateway@KLIA2 buzz with energy throughout the busy weekend. Not only did Champsman Academy’s students emerge as winners in the Disney Voice Dubbing Competition, but participants from 甲洞三校 (Kepong 3rd Primary School),蕉赖九哩华小 (Cheras 9th Mile Chinese Primary School) and吉隆坡安邦中华女校 (Kuala Lumpur Ampang Chinese Girls’ School)also claimed championships in the Talent categories.
